“For 2025, we need P11.5 billion to be approved. Otherwise, each billion of the deficit would result in about 2.1 hours of no power. We won’t be able to buy any fuel,” Fernando Martin Roxas, Napocor president and chief executive officer, told reporters on the sidelines of the Enlit Asia 2024 energy conference on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the investments “a huge vote of confidence” in his Labour government and its long-term growth plans, despite a stuttering start in power since the party’s election win in July.

The unboxing revealed two adorable miniatures of himself. One figure showcased him in red board shorts, complete with a flower in its hair and a strikingly accurate back tattoo.
The second figure, a hipper version, depicted him in a two-piece swimsuit and included a tiny turtle accessory – an extra touch that delighted him.
ADVERTISEMENT“They even got my hair accurately,” he gushed, pointing out the meticulous craftsmanship of the figures.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. Along with the customized Sonny Angels, Bretman also received a miniature and sticker of his beloved pet chicken, as well as keychains and additional stickers featuring his figures.
One user commented, “Not me thinking these were Moana sonny angels.”
Sonny Angels, originally known as collectible figurines featuring cherubic characters in different themed headgear, have become a popular item among collectors around the world, especially among Filipinos.
Celebrities who collect Sonny Angel dolls include Bella Hadid and Victoria Beckham.
With his love for quirky collectibles, it’s no wonder Bretman was over the moon about these customized Sonny Angels.
“Yeah, I think I could die happy. Like I could diekabibe game,” the Fil-Am celebrity said as he ended the video.
